Chess.sg is looking to expand our team! We take coaching excellence very seriously and are looking for freelance chess coaches with the following qualities:

  • Genuine care for your students' wellbeing and improvement.
  • Able to explain chess clearly and make lessons fun.
  • Responsive to our staff, students, and their parents.
  • Rated at least 1600 on chess.com (rapid/blitz), 1900 on lichess, or 1400 FIDE. Most of our coaches are 1800+.
  • At least 18 years old and based in Singapore.
  • Able to commit to each student for about 6 months (a trial lesson plus two packages), so students get consistency.
