Weekend Centre Manager

Run our Bukit Timah clubhouse on weekends. $14 to $16/h based on performance, plus $20 for every student you close.

Hours. Sat 9:00am to 12:30pm, Sun 9:00am to 6:15pm, with an hour for lunch

Pay. $14/h, rising to $15 at 3 months and $16 at 9 months, plus $20 for every student you sign up

Where. Bukit Timah Shopping Centre #18-01, three minutes from Beauty World MRT

Type. Permanent weekend role, computer provided

The job

You run our centre on weekends. You are the face parents see, the voice on our WhatsApp, and the person who keeps the day moving.

Open and close the centre, keep it neat and stocked
Welcome parents and kids, handle walk-in enquiries at the front desk
Answer our WhatsApp during your shift
Follow up on trial lessons and sign up new students
Keep our records and class lists updated
Step in to help a coach when a class runs big

Who it suits

Anyone warm with people and tight with admin. Students, working adults, career switchers and retirees are all welcome. We care about how you are with parents and children, not your age or your CV.

Chess rating 1000 or above on chess.com or lichess, we check every profile

About Chess.sg

We are a chess academy at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, running group classes for ages 4 to 16, weekly rated tournaments, holiday camps and 1:1 coaching. Hundreds of children come through each month, and weekends are when the place comes alive. Our coaches can train you to assist and eventually run classes if that interests you.
